The CFP® certification requires extensive initial and ongoing education in investment planning, retirement planning, liability management, estate planning, and insurance and risk planning. Credential holders must also abide by the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, including the requirement to act in each client's best interest.

Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) professionals apply state of the art investment theory and integrate a complex body of knowledge systematically and ethically to assist clients in making prudent investment decisions. Robert earned the CIMA® designation after extensive graduate-level coursework at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
The CIMA® certification signifies that an individual has met initial and ongoing experience, ethics, education, and examination requirements for investment management consulting, including advanced investment management theory and application. The CIMA® designation is the first financial services credential to meet the American National Standards Institute (ANSI®) international standard for personnel certification.
